I will start off with saying Malaysia was AWESOME!!! We had the time of our life's on this trip! Our trip started a little rocky, our plane from Salt Lake to San Francisco was delayed 2 hours and our layover was only an hour and forty five minutes so we were very nervous that we had missed our flight to Taipei. We landed in San Francisco and had to run to the international section of the airport, check in, get our tickets then go through security. Lucky for us they held the plane!!! We got settled in for a 13.5 hour flight. (BORING) We made it to Taipei and of course we were late but we made our 6 hour flight to Kuala Lumpur. We finally made it! YAHOO! We headed to the baggage claim and waited and waited and waited…nothing our bags were nowhere to be found. We spent way too much time trying to track them down and they told us they would deliver them to our hotel if they showed up so off we went to our hotel. The ride to the hotel was about 45 minutes and we were extremely excited to have made it to our finally destination. We were on a plane for 21 hours and had been traveling for about 28 hours and we had nothing besides what we had on the plane. We decided to tough it out for the day and go to the aquarium then head to China town later that night to pick up some new cheap clothes. The aquarium was so much fun! Neither of us had seen anything like it. China town was not open yet so we went back to our room to hang out we ended up falling asleep and not making it to China town. The next morning we still had NOTHING. We could shower but had to put on the same nasty clothes ( I couldn’t wash my hair because I didn’t have a brush or pony tail holder and I didn’t want to be stuck with wet nappy hair.) The mall was very close to the hotel so we figured we were just walk over and get some stuff there. Well nothing in Malaysia opens till 10am. We went to the sky walk of the petrona towers which had a beautiful view of Malaysia. We were finally able to buy some new clothes, shoes, deodorant, brush, socks and everything else that we needed. We were set and ready to go sight seeing! The first place we went to was Batu caves…it was a bit of a hike to the top but totally worth it. There were wild monkeys all over and it was fun to watch them. Next we went to China town and got some major shopping done! We felt a little funny walking into the hotel with bags and bags of stuff. We made it back to the room and checked our message and our bags had made it to the airport and were on the way to our hotel. THANK GOODNESS! Day 2 we went to the bird park which was probably the high light of our trip! It was so fun to hold the birds! We also wanted to check out the zoo, we didn’t think it was great but it might have been because we were so hot and tired so we went back to the hotel and relaxed by the pool. Day 3 was our work day and the convention went very well. We had such a wonderful trip and LOVED the city! I have never met so many nice and helpful people in my life! Most everyone spoke English so it made it very easy to get around. Here are a few pictures from our trip, I could write a book about how great the city was but I don’t want to waste your time.

Dan was a good sport and carried my pink backpack-I guess he got sick of having a pink bag because he bought a new one in China town.
I felt like I was being attacked by birds
