We had a wonderful & relaxing trip to Yellowstone this weekend. Too bad it was a little short and very cold. We were shocked when we pulled up to the cabin and saw all the snow. I was very disappointed, I packed shorts and tank tops. (It is usually hot over Memorial Day) Dan spent most the weekend fishing while I drove around trying to find some bears. I never did find the bears but I did see some wolfs!! This was my first time seeing the wolfs, I was super excited and watch them for about a hour. Dan was sad that he missed it because he was fishing. I also saw lots of elk & bison. Sunday morning we made a trip up to the waterfalls. They looked awesome! I have never seen them with so much water. It was a long drive but a well needed vacation. We had a great time!

We finally have the keys to our house!! We received our keys on Monday afternoon, we have been working hard to get it cleaned & painted! Last night we finished painting our bedroom and living room, the dining room only needs one more coat of paint! My family has been a huge help in getting our house cleaned and painted! Thank everyone for helping us! We feel so lucky to have such wonderful familes and we are so excited to be close to everyone!

Wedding

Just thought I would update everyone on the wedding. The wedding is September 5th!! It is coming so fast, only four more months!! We are getting married at the Utah State capitol and will also be having our reception there. My mom is making my dress, my adorable niece’s dresses, and bridesmaids dresses. After four months of dealing with me, one make-up mark and me stepping on it, (ripping a hole) my mom is almost done with my dress. It is everything I have ever wanted and more! THANK YOU MOM! She also has Tashas and Nikkis dresses done along with Kaelyn and Jadas dresses. They all look amazing! Only four more dress to go, good luck mom! We went tuxedo shopping on Saturday and I didn’t know it was going to be so hard to find tan tuxedos for a reasonable price. Our invites are all ready to go and just need to be printed. My uncle Cory is taking our engagement pictures, I can’t wait, I love switching the old pictures out with the new ones! I’m also very excited about going shopping for a new outfit! We are meeting with the flower lady on Saturday, I’m a little nervous because I have no idea what kind of flowers I want. Hopefully she will be able to help us out! Well I think I have covered all the wedding plans so far. If you have any suggestions about planning a wedding, please let me know!

Our House

We were supposed to close on our house yesterday but rates went up and we had to push it to next Thursday. I was very disappointed but it gives us a little more time to get things ready. Last week we found a fridge, this week we found us a washer and dryer. Our boss got new couches and gave us his old ones. They are very nice and super comfortable! It feels so good that things are coming together! We can hardly wait for next weekend to start painting and get things moved in! Pictures are coming soon!!!
