Horrible picture but I was so excited I caught him (Brant didn't think I had it in me)
Brant and I had an exciting night mowing! We were on our way home and had to stop to turn off some sprinklers. Brant opened the valve box and there was a SALAMANDER!!! Of course Brant challenged me to catch it and i took him up on his offer.... I was too slow and missed him. Darn! Brant told me he had seen another one over at his work across the street, we went over there to catch that one and he was way too fast! I was so disappointed that I didn't catch one. We stopped and got gas and I begged Brant to go back and see if he was out again. He gave in! I opened the valve box and he was out, I couldn't mess around this time. I stuck my hand in there and I looked at Brant and said "OH HE IS IN THERE... AND I GOT HIM!" We took him and gave him a new home in Brants valve box! Brant also came up with a great name for him. Sax! We are so excited to have a mascot! Whoo for a fun night mowing!
We also stopped by my dads and look what we found in the backyard! 2 huge bucks! We sat there for about 15 minutes watching them and they didnt seem to mind one bit!

Cool pics of the bucks, all Deer hunters will be jealous. Thanks for catching a new pet for the yard, the kids will probably scare the poor thing to death. I do like the picture with you and the salamander together, Classic
